生成AIの登場を機に、世界の生成AI市場は2023年の106億ドルから、2030年には2,110億ドルにまで急成長されるという市場予測も出ていましたが、AIチャットボットの普及、そして、今後自律的に計画・動作するAIエージェントには大きな関心が高まっています。

さて、弊社の年次イベントOpenText Summitは日本のみならず、シンガポール、シドニー、ロンドン、ミュンヘンなどグローバルの各地域で開催されました。北米で開催されるグローバルカンファレンスOpenText Worldの内容を凝縮し、本国エグゼクティブが直接各地域でメッセージを伝えるキーイベントで、今年日本には7年ぶりにCEO Mark Barrenecheaが来日いたしました。

今回はMarkの基調講演のほか、CEOとお客様対談による特別プログラムに日本電気株式会社、NTTコミュニケーションズ株式会社、そして海外より来日したIoTロボティクスカンパニーのR-DEX社を迎え、DXの取り組みやAI活用など、参加者の皆様にとっても有意義となるお話をいただきました。

また、AIの利活用をご紹介するデモンストレーションでは、弊社ソリューションコンサルタントチームが３つの具体的な活用事例をベースに、実際の画面を交えたインタラクティブなデモセッションを実施いたしました。モデレーターとデモ担当者が業務の流れや画面の動きをお見せしながら、わかりやすく解説を加えており、本デモンストレーションは多数のお客様から好評をいただくことができました。

特別講演は競争戦略論で著名な一橋ビジネススクール特任教授の楠木健先生をお迎えし、戦略的意思決定について、お話いただきました。「楠木健の頭の中」という興味深い著書シリーズのタイトルさながら、本セッションでも先生の頭の中が少し垣間見える機会であり、場内では先生のお話に熱心に耳を傾け、時には笑みを浮かべる参加者が多数いらっしゃいました。

その後のブレイクアウトセッションでは、4つのトラックに分かれ、Business Network、コンテンツ管理、ITオペレーション＆アプリケーション管理、セキュリティなど、弊社ソリューションの最新動向をお伝えするとともに、ご利用中のお客様やパートナー様にご登壇いただき、具体的な実例をご紹介いただきました。

OpenTextが例年開催する「OpenText Summit Japan」が「Information Reimagined（AI時代のビジネスを再定義し、“情報の再構築”へ）」をテーマに2025年2月13日に赤坂インターシティコンファレンスにて開催することが決定しました。企業がAIを自社活用し企業競争力を向上させるために必要不可欠である、組織全体におけるDXを推進するために必要な取り組みやポイントについて、基調講演や特別講演、同社エキスパートによるセッションや、事例セッションを通じて紹介します。

AIを活用した、これからの企業イノベーションとは

前回、OpenText Summit Japan 2024の冒頭挨拶に続いて行われた基調講演では、早稲田大学大学院経営管理研究所 早稲田大学ビジネススクール教授の入山章栄氏が登壇。「AIを活用した、これからの企業イノベーションとは」について特別講演をいただきました。

コロナ、国際情勢、資源高、円安、気候変動、SDGｓ、人材不足、新たなテクノロジーの台頭――。さまざまな変化の中で、企業は『現状維持』では会社がなくなるどころか業界ごとなくなってしまうような圧倒的な不確実性の時代になっています。これからイノベーションを起こせない企業の存続は厳しくなっていくはずです。

では、イノベーションはどのように起こすのでしょうか？入山氏は「新しいアイデアは、まだ組み合わせたことのないモノ同士の組み合わせによって生まれます。しかし、人間の認知能力には限界があるため、どうしても目の前にあるモノ同士を組み合わせてしまいがちです。そして、そのようなアイデアのほとんどは既出の組み合わせです。イノベーションを起こすには、なるべく離れたモノ同士を組み合わせる必要があります。そして、『これはイケそうだ』と思ったら、徹底的に深堀り、アイデアを磨き込み、効率化して、収益化するということを、高いレベルでできている企業・組織・経営者・ビジネスパーソンが成功する可能性が高いのは間違いありません」と話しました。

「イノベーションに必要なのは、遠くのものを幅広く見る『知の探索』ですが、知の探索には、金も、時間も、人もかかるし、失敗も少なくありません。一見すると知の探索は無駄に見えるため、効率を重んじがちな企業は探索せずに目の前の効率化に偏ってしまう傾向があります。もちろん短期的な予算を達成しようとすることも間違いではありません。しかし、目の前の効率を高める作業こそ、AIが得意とする領域なのです。ディープラーニングによって失敗を減らすように学習しているAIには、失敗を恐れずに挑戦する本当の意味での『知の探索』はできません。人は人が対応すべき業務に取り組めるよう、人間のポテンシャルを最大限に引き出し、加速させるためのインフラ装置としてDX化を進めAIを活用しましょう」と呼びかけました。

生成AIの３つのリスクを克服しビジネス利用を可能にする次世代SaaS文書管理サービス『Core Content』

注目を集めているChatGPTやGoogle Vertexなどの生成AIについて、ビジネス利用にあたっては、セキュリティや情報の正確性・信頼性などに不安を頂いている方も少なくありません。オープンテキスト株式会社　秋山 英二（ソリューション・コンサルティング統括本部　コンテンツ/エクスペリエンス・ソリューションコンサルティング部　部長）が、生成AIをビジネス活用する上で解決しなければならない不安と、それらを解消するためのポイントについて説明しました。

「企業が扱うデータのうち８０％は見積書や請求書、契約書、図面などの非構造化データです。それらのデータは作って、使って、片づけたら、その後に再活用されることはほとんどありません。生成AIによって、これまで活用できていなかったデータをビジネスに使用できるようになりますが、生成AIに関するスキルを保有した人材が社内にいるケースは極めて少なく、企業は『どのように生成AIを活用できるか』について具体的なイメージを持つことは難しいでしょう。さらにChatGPTなどを触ってみたことがある方なら、生成AIの正確性やプライバシーリスクを不安に感じるかもしれません」

生成AIに関する利用が進んでいない理由に触れたうえで、生成AIを使用しないリスクへの注意喚起も促しました。

「しかし、『当社での生成AIのビジネス活用は、まだ先かな』とゆっくり考えている間に、競合他社が生成AIを活用して企業競争力を高めていて出遅れてしまった……ということになりかねません。「生成AIはリスクがあるからやらない」という判断こそが、後々さらに大きなリスクになってしまうのです」

生成AIをビジネス活用するうえでの３つのリスクについても説明しました。

「正しいデータを学習させているのに、AIが事実と異なる答えを生成してしまうリスクが3つあります。1つめの『嘘つきなAI』です。インターネット上の不確かな情報を学習させてしまうと誤った回答をしてしまう可能性がありますので、信頼できるデータソースから学習させる必要があります。また、古いファイルがフォルダ内に残っていると途中段階のファイルから生成AIが学んでしまい、最終決定したのとは異なる答えに基づいて回答を作成してしまう可能性もあります。

２つめのリスクは『おしゃべりなAI』です。ファイルやフォルダごとに閲覧権限が設定されているにも関わらず、生成AIが社内のあらゆるデータを学んでしまうことで閲覧権限がないユーザーに越権した答えを返してしまうことがないよう、生成AIを活用する際には権限を引き継いだ管理も必要になります。

3つめのリスクが『視野の狭いAI』です。生成AIを使って包括的に分析をしようとしても、ファイルやフォルダがサイロ化してしまっていてはAIがデータを活用することができず、結果的に視野が狭い回答しか返せなくなってしまいます。

それら3つのリスクを克服し、生成AIを活用するためには、学習するデータが全て最新版であり、一元管理され、セキュリティも万全であることが必要不可欠です」

生成AIを使うのは目的ではなく、あくまで企業の競争力を高めるための手段の一つであることを改めて強調し、そのため、デジタル化、DXは避けられないステップであることを説明し、次世代SaaS文書管理サービス「OpenText Core Content」であれば、文書管理における3つの問題をクリアした文書管理を実現できること、きちんとした文書管理に戻づく業務のデジタル化を行えば、リッチでシュアなデータソースが蓄積され生成AIの価値も継続的に向上させることができること、Contents Aviatorによってすぐに会話型AIをビジネスに活用できることも紹介しました。

来るべきAI時代を見据えたOne Data Platform
～日々の業務効率化から始めるデータ利活用の基盤つくり～

業務ノウハウやAIデジタライゼーションに高い知見を有するデロイトトーマツグループと、日々の業務効率化を実現しながら生成AI活用が可能な基盤を作り上げる方法について、デロイト トーマツ リスクアドバイザリー合同会社　小寺 洋輝氏（新規事業推進　マネジャー）のセッションでは、未来の内部統制の姿について次のように話しました。

「内部統制は、『業務の有効性・効率性』、『財務報告の信頼性』、『事業に関連する法令の遵守』、『資産の保全』を達成するために企業の中で構築されるプロセスです。しかし、細分化されてしまうことでブラックボックス化してしまい、担当部署しか把握していないという事象が起きてしまいがちです。従来の内部統制は『コントロールの証跡を残す』意味合いが強いものでしたが、未来の内部統制ではデジタルを駆使し『コスト最適化』、『生産性向上』、『業務の簡潔化』、『業務の自動化』の4つの目標を目指すことになるでしょう」

内部統制のフレームワークの再構築や運用モデルの構築と合わせて、業務の自動化・簡潔化を行うテクノロジーエコシステムには、ECMを核としてシステムを連携したOne Data Platformの構築を推奨しました。さらにディープラーニング技術をコアとした幅広いビジネス文書に対応するAI-OCである、デロイト　トーマツが独自開発した人工知能サービス「Deep ICR®」をOpenTextのExtend ECMと連携させることで、One Data Platformにおいて自動化・効率化を促進できる点についても言及。ECMを核とした共通プラットフォームにデータ保管することで、コストと業務プロセスへの影響を最小限に抑えながら、ガバナンスを強化できることを呼びかけました。
